The Sennheiser HD 505 is an open headphone that is supposed to meet high audiophile demands, but is significantly cheaper than other high-end headsets. The manufacturer dropped ballast for this, but does not compromise on the sound.
Headphones that offer particularly precise, detailed and natural reproduction in open construction with high -quality components can be very expensive. Sennheiser's current flagship for home use, the HD 802, currently costs around 1700 euros, for example, at the market launch it was even 2000 euros. However, the German manufacturer also wants to win audiophilic users who are not willing to invest such sums.

Real player nature
As far as playing is concerned, the HD 505 does not disappoint, the sound on the Xbox is excellent. You get every detail with you and hear precisely the direction from which a sound comes. You can enjoy the full dynamic range, which is particularly fun with action and music.
When enjoying music with a correspondingly high -resolution, loss -free material, the Sennheiser 505 offers exactly the analytical sound that the 0 promises in its name. It opens a wide, airy stage with precisely placed instruments and voices with angled sound walls.
Excellent sound
The analytical is especially in the many details that you can hear and explore. Deep, elastic basses form a stable foundation. They are very present, but never crowd into the foreground as long as the piece does not require this. That's exactly how it should be.
