Cathy Hummels wants a new partner. But it's not that easy to get, the 36-year-old now says.
Cathy and Mats Hummels announced their separation more than two years ago; the couple had been married since 2015. Their son Ludwig comes from their time together. After her relationship with the soccer star, Cathy Hummels did not introduce a new partner to the public. But the influencer doesn't want to stay alone. However, she recently revealed that it is hard to get to know someone.
Cathy Hummels received many letters following her statement. “I received a lot of love letters from various men. It really has everything there. I was very happy and flattered,” she said on RTL. But it's obviously not easy for her to get to know a new partner. “I have my standards and I don't fall in love easily,” she explained. A potential partner must be tall, well built and athletic. “Because I live this lifestyle myself. And it definitely has to be intelligent, smart. I like smart men,” said the 36-year-old.
In addition to her own demands, there are also the ideas of her six-year-old son. Ludwig also has to agree to his mother's possible new relationship. “My son is a very open, loving person. And he gives everyone a chance. And I believe that if his partner is nice to him, he will also be nice in return,” explains Cathy Hummels.
While Cathy Hummels is still looking for new love, her ex-husband has already found her. At the end of October he made his first appearance together at the Ballon d'Or in Paris with his girlfriend, the model Nicola Cavanis. She is the first woman that the professional footballer introduces to the public since his marriage broke up.
