Pietro Lombardi and Laura Maria Rypa are currently looking forward to the birth of their second child together. But their excitement is now being dampened.
About a year after the birth of their first child together, Pietro Lombardi and Laura Maria Rypa contacted their followers again with good news: the influencer is pregnant again. “Indescribable love, baby number two is coming,” the couple announced on Instagram at the end of January.
Her fear of a premature birth is great: Due to medical problems, she was ordered to stay in bed. Her one-year-old son Leano was also born around six weeks early in 2023. “I have my next appointment with the doctor tomorrow and hope that it hasn't gotten any worse,” she explained in her Instagram story. She had recently “rested a lot” as instructed by her gynecologist.
But her followers obviously see things differently. Laura Maria Rypa keeps getting messages criticizing her behavior during her pregnancy. “She wants him to come sooner too,” “It's easier to market than 'everything is going smoothly'” or “It was the same with Leano, you should take it easy and you didn't do it,” are just a few of the comments.
Rypa admits that such statements weigh on her. In front of the camera, she fights back tears in a video, her voice trembling: “Because I'm on bed rest, I'm on my phone and, unfortunately, I read so many stupid things,” she describes her situation. She notices again and again that she simply can't please many followers. “I have a small child at home, I do the housework. If you get help, it's wrong again. If you only show the perfect, beautiful world, it's fake. If you show how it really is, you need attention,” says Pietro Lombardi's partner.
The couple has been engaged since 2022. The musician was previously married to Sarah Engels from 2013 to 2019. The two have a son, Alessio, who is now nine years old.
