Ecoflow unveils the “world’s most powerful” Delta Pro Ultra smart hybrid battery generator at CES. It provides emergency power for an entire house, but can also be used mobile. With the Smart Home Panel 2, the Delta Pro can also be integrated into domestic energy management.

The Delta Pro Ultra is one of the most exciting battery generators on display at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. With an output of 7200 watts (W), it is not only able to supply all devices in a household with electricity, it also offers a very high capacity of 6 kilowatt hours (kWh). If you need more, you can expand it with additional modules to up to 90 kWh, which can supply an economical household for a month in an emergency.

If necessary, the battery storage can also be used mobile with or without additional modules, for example in a motorhome, at a barbecue party or in a garden shed. The device can be equipped with wheels and an extendable handle for transport.

    Ideal for solar systems

The Delta Pro Ultra can be charged from a socket, but also with solar panels or other generators. The use of photovoltaics is particularly interesting because, according to the manufacturer, with an output of 5.6 to 16.8 kW it can be seamlessly integrated into existing roof systems and portable solar systems. In the event of power outages, it protects devices connected directly to the inverter in the house system through virtually instantaneous switching.

With a battery pack made of lithium iron phosphate cells (LFP), the battery generator is long-lasting. If used daily, it should still have 80 percent of its capacity after ten years and 3,500 charging cycles. In addition, the Delta Pro Ultra should work particularly quietly and offer high efficiency thanks to a special heat dissipation system.

The battery generator forms a strong team with the also new Ecoflow Smart Home Panel 2. This means that it can be fully integrated into the energy management of a house, guaranteeing uninterrupted and automatic switching between mains and emergency power operation.

Practical: An integrated weather service allows the system to prioritize emergency power supply in the event of an approaching storm.

The Smart Home Panel itself offers twelve load circuits for controlling individual devices separately. According to Ecoflow, it allows an overview of a house’s entire energy needs, optimizes power consumption and extends operating times through smart analyzes and use of solar energy.

The Delta Pro Ultra is initially available in the USA, where it costs around $5,000 including the inverter during an introductory phase until February 9th. The Smart Home Panel 2 alone costs just under $1,600; the combination of both devices is available for around $6,400. After February 9th, prices rise to around $5800, $1900 and $7500. When sales start in Europe, a corresponding launch campaign can be expected.
