The actor became a father again – a few months ago. Now Peter Lohmeyer has spoken about his offspring.
Around thirty years after the birth of his youngest daughter, Peter Lohmeyer has to change diapers again. The actor has become a father again, as he has now confirmed to “Bild”. “My girlfriend and I were sitting on the train in the family compartment on the way here. My new son was with us, seven months old. That's always a bit tiring,” said the 62-year-old on the sidelines of a gala.
“The conductor didn't believe I was the father. Then he saw the child – then it was clear,” he joked, referring to his age. The baby's mother is Peter Lohmeyer's 38-year-old partner Leonie Seifert. The two have been together since 2017 and this is the journalist's first child.
Peter Lohmeyer is now a father of five. With his former partner, the camera assistant Katrin Klamroth, he has daughters Lola and Leila Lynn and son Louis Klamroth, who is known as the “Hard but Fair” presenter on television. Lola and Leila Lynn work as actresses.
Their son Ivo also comes from the relationship with the Austrian-born actress Adisat Semenitsch. The four older children have all long since grown up. But Peter Lohmeyer emphasized that he doesn't think late fatherhood is “all that crazy” and explained: “I still get enough sleep, that's not a problem.” His partner is a great support to him.
Leonie Seifert also looked after the children that evening so that the actor could enjoy a great moment. At the gala on November 18th, alongside Dietmar Bär, Joachim Król and Armin Rohde in the Bochum Schauspielhaus, he was honored with the Brost Ruhr Prize for special services to the Ruhr area. His loved one took the train to Bonn. “She looks after the little one,” says Peter Lohmeyer.
