Fans of “Lion’s Den” have reason to be happy: Judith Williams has ended her break. Then it can be seen again in the format.
Judith Williams reports to fans and followers with good news. The entrepreneur is returning to the Vox show “The Lions’ Den” and will be in front of the camera again for the new season. She announced the news on Instagram with a short video in which she posed behind the famous lion door in the filming studio dressed in a colorful one-piece.
“I have to tell you something… I'm back!” writes the 52-year-old. Williams is looking forward to “finally getting to know exciting and innovative start-ups again.” She also happily announces that filming will start soon.
Private break for the family
The entrepreneur announced in February 2023 that she would temporarily pause as an investor in “Höhle der Löwen”. The reason for this was family: in 2022, Williams lost her father, who suffered from Alzheimer's. Her mother was subsequently diagnosed with lung cancer. Williams wanted to be there for them around the clock. Her mother is now said to have recovered from the illness.
Williams sat out filming for the 14th and 15th seasons. Instead, the Lions welcomed Tijen Onaran as a new investor member. In addition to her, Ralf Dümmel, Carsten Maschmeyer, Nils Glagau, Dagmar Wöhrl, Janna Ensthaler and Tillman Schulz also appeared in the past episodes.
According to Vox, Williams will not be seen again in “The Lions’ Den” until fall 2024. Before that, there will be a spring season without the beauty entrepreneur. An exact broadcast date is not yet known. The spring episodes usually air on television from April onwards, and the autumn seasons usually start at the end of August.
